Visit to the Local Library

Last week Rang 3 paid a visit to the local public library. Sadhbh Devlin - author of 'Bí ag Spraoi Liom' explained the process of writing a book to us, beginning with the creation of a mini picture book. She spoke about the illustration procesws and thelength of time it took to have a finished product. She read her story to us and then challenged us to come up with our own ideas of a useful machine invention. Rang 3 have wonderful imaginations and we look forward to the invention of their ideas in the future e.g. ask for food and the machine produces it on the spot. Back at school we designed our own picture books and we hope to write our stories this week.
