Gaelscoil Charman’s insurance company is called Allianz. As well as insuring our school building and contents, Allianz also offers the opportunity for parents/guardians to take out annual Pupil Personal Accident Insurance for their child. While this annual pupil insurance is not compulsory, very many of our families take it out every year.
The 24 hour cover provided by Allianz includes social, domestic and leisure activities, as well as the usual school activities. The cover runs for 365 days, and not just the school year.
Each September, we contact our families to invite them to join the Pupil Personal Accident Insurance Scheme for the year ahead. Parents/guardians pay the annual fee securely via our school’s Aladdin app.
