Rang a Trí were incredibly fortunate to have two school tours this year.
On the 9th June we went out the road to the IOAC where we tried our hand at the Berserker assault course; we climbed to the dizzy heights of thei High Ropes and we shot arrows in the Archery Section. Bhí an- spórt is spraoi againn eventhough we were soaked to the skin due to the heavy rain but that was part of the craic!
The sun was splitting the stones as we stepped back in time on the 17th June in The Heritage Park. During the year we learned about Hunter Gatherers, The First Farmers and the Vikings in class. We also walked the Streets of Wexford in the company of local historian Monica Crofton earlier in the year. Múinteoir Áine read us an leabhar 'The Vikings at Drumshee' so the children were ready to see a slice of life in those times.
